At this point, saying it’s hot outside is probably an understatement— and that’s the case across the country. While it’s happening in some areas more than others, extreme heat events around the nation are becoming more common, severe and longer-lasting as our climate continues to change.
As a way to showcase my visual communication skills with a topic that’s prevalent, I created a themed infographic that I was extremely proud of.
Every detail is crucial to an infographic as it helps spread an important message. You must first establish the overall look and feel of what you hope to relay to your audience and then identify the visual elements you’d like to communicate. Working on this really made me consider not only visual elements, but ensuring the information I was sharing was thoroughly researched and accurate as it could be the difference between life and death.
