A Content Alignment Summary Report is an important step for brands and organizations as it helps paint a picture as to how tactical strategies can align across the organization.
Typically, there are three key elements for an optimal content alignment strategy:
- Alignment, which is the integration of business and organizational strategies
- Execution, or the standardized approach of conducting process initiatives; and
- Strategy, the actual plan that helps us achieve a specific objective
My goal for this project was to get hands-on practice creating a Content Alignment Summary Report by imagining I was the Content Strategist for SellMyApp.com, an online marketplace for buying and selling mobile source code, and help develop its content strategy.
After creating this Content Alignment Summary Report, I learned that it really can help set achievable goals that align with the brand’s key objectives while optimally engaging with employees. When everyone has a clear understanding of the organization’s strategy, it makes the experience better for the brand, its employees and its community.
