Located in the heart of Hidalgo County in McAllen, Dragon Warrior Noodle is a Japanese cuisine staple in the Rio Grande Valley. This ramen shop is a weekly go-to for me, so I know the brand well, which is why I ventured out to rebrand the restaurant and give their logo and theme a soup-er makeover.
The first thing I tackled were logo options.

After initially creating 14 potential logo options then narrowing it down to six, my next task was creating a mood board to supplement my research with a visual element.

Conducting my research beforehand really helped bring this brand package together with ease and conceptualized my ideas in an organized and detailed way. Because a restaurant’s identity is extremely important for shaping how others see the overall brand, I really do believe these modern logo options can help tie them together with the atmosphere both inside the restaurant and across digital platforms.

For the final part of my brand makeover, I created a brand board, which packages all my research and visuals into a single presentation. In it, I included an “About Us” section for the restaurant and dived into its origins, company mantra, competition, audience, mood board overview, the new logo, as well as how and where they can be applied.
